All About Heather

Heather first caught my eye in high school. She was hard not to notice; she was outgoing, energetic, and totally hot. I didn't want her to know that I was really interested so when she talked to me outside of class for the first time I pretended like I didn't know her name. I thought that I was playing hard to get and that she would pursue me. My plan backfired and I soon found out that she was annoyed. So the next semester when her schedule changed, I had to change classes to in order to keep up with her. Keeping up with Heather has been the most fun adventure of my life.

I am always trying to keep up with how friendly and kind she is. Heather is the type of person who looks for those who need a friend or someone to brighten their day and is there for them in any way she can be. She serves everybody around her and always takes the time to serve me. She puts others needs before her own and this is especially true with Hunter and Cameron. Heather is the happiest she has ever been being a mom. She radiates joy and is so creative with our boys. I call her from work every day excited to hear about what fun things they have done. I think that Hunter and Cameron are such active and busy boys because they don't want to miss out on a single moment with their mom. Our boys adore her and have to be right by their mom every second.

I love that I have known Heather for so long that it seems like she has always been a part of my life. Heather is such an example in my life. Her strong testimony of Jesus Christ has helped me through any obstacle we have faced. She is my strength and I love her with all of my heart. I am excited every morning to wake up next to her.

On being a Mom

Being a mom is the most fun and fulfilling thing I have ever done. I try to eat up every moment, every hour, every day. When my boys are awake I try not to let anything interfere with our play time. I want to give my children a spectacular childhood full of giggles, exploration, and love.

 

 

 

I love the slower pace of my life.
I love stopping to spend time reading or playing with the same toys again and again.
I love Hunter and Cameron lighting up every day when they see me, I love being their world.
I love the laughs, hugs, kisses.
I love being a mom.

I love having this second chance at childhood. Childhood is more amazing this time because I am able to enjoy it through my beautiful boys eyes and it is a beautiful world. These are the moments I dreamed of those long years waiting and every moment is worth all of the wait.
